it’s weird cause since i watched angel last fall, i have been appreciating sunlight more than usual. i’m not sure if it’s a spring thing but i’m definitely spending more time outside sitting toward the sun and pause more often from my walks to feel the warmth of the sunlight.

here’s to angel, i guess. he should visit numfar more. or find another enchanted ring.

So I was watching When in Rome, an episode of Xena, I saw a lady, Mendala. I was like WHY DO YOU LOOK FAMILIAR?

I googled her and there she was.

I was like what the fuck, how did I remember her from 10 years ago???

great just great. this is the first week without any counselor and im already flipping out.

is this the result of coming here for the past year? like my friend said, dont become old. sure looks like i became old.

just saw my first dragonfly since I moved here 

it was a reddish one, when I saw it i thought, go do whatever you need to do within 24 hours now little guy. how can they do anything within 24 hours?

Just found out this term, normalcy bias.

It’s when you act perfectly normal during a disaster like airplane going down and you need to leave via exit entrance. But while all that shit, you just stand there doing nothing with a serene expression on your face. 

This has happened to me before. Last year, I was sitting in the back of a car with two of my friends in front. All of sudden a car slammed our car, car side to side kind of slam not like T-bone style thankfully. The friend/driver was like oHMyGOSH! My shotgun friend jumped, trembling slightly. I was like oh there’s my phone on the floor. Then told my friend, the driver, to keep going we are going to miss the exit. She looked at me quizzically, no we need to report this to the cop. 

So yeah…I probably will die in one of those crises.

It’s an extremely solid movie, with good action and character development (to the central characters). There was a couple of stupid scenes where the main lady suddenly become horny for no reason, and the ending could had been done differently, if you think about it. However, everything else makes sense minus the time traveling aspect. But we all know time travel is a timey wimey stuff.

In the first time line, Joe killed Older Joe and the Rainmaker had a defected jaw. That would hadn’t happened if Older Joe survived the carnage by younger Joe.

I was genuinely pleased and surprised at the ending, because it’s how life fundamentally works. The majority of everything in life repeats. And you don’t know what can happen next, does it repeat again or it goes in a slight different direction? Yes, I was slightly annoyed that they didn’t show more but after some considerations, it works better this way.

Also, the runt gives me the heebie jeebie.

Okay, I’ll ‘fess that I started this after I found out Jaime Murray is in this. And I can never stop myself from not watching something that have her in it. Because that is how fabulously perfect she is. 

I was completely lost for the first episode because everyone looked sorta alike with all dicks and vaginas being 100% exposed to the tv screen and the profiles of everyone just kept flying over my head. And with how ridiculous good the fights were but all those blood spurting everywhere like rain! But by the second episode, I became used to how open S:GotA is compared to the majority of the tv shows out there. By that time, things became much more clearer but the story was still bland. But Jaime Murray pulled me through nevertheless. Thanks to her, I saw how fabulous all other actors are in this. Lucy Lawless, Dustin Clare, John Hannah, etc. Everyone is sexy. Starz did a good job choosing actors.

About the fourth episode, things FINALLY picked up. In an extremely good way. For the first four episodes, I casually took my time watching because it wasn’t that great. But after the fourth episode, I hit the floor running (uh, watching) the last 2 episodes in one night. And that ending! I was like holy cowbunga! It was truly epic just like any story with a classical hero’s name in the title. 

I would had watched the first season right after that finale if I had it in my hand but I need to wait until summer. (People said you need to watch the first season first despite this being a prequel.. I still had fun while not knowing that though)

Random thought during my run/watch: Watching other people being all  hedonism can be fun if it’s done right. Like this, for instance.

Time to bring in the wines!
